ROYAL EXPECTATIONS

ROYAL EXPECTATIONS

The Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Catherine, is expecting. Whether it's a boy or a girl, the baby will be third in line to the throne, after Prince Charles and Prince William.
An official from St. James Palace said Catherine is in the early stages of her pregnancy. She's in hospital in London, suffering from acute morning sickness.

(Citizens)
"Hardly surprising. Very good news. Why not?"
"Yes, indeed. It's lovely."

(Tourists)
"Hopefully it's a girl. I want a girl."

Commonwealth officials have agreed to give girls equal status with boys in the order of succession to the throne.
Prime Minister David Cameron said the new rules will be applied starting with the birth of a child from William and Kate.
British people have celebrated several recent royal events: the royal couple's wedding last year, and this year, Queen Elizabeth's diamond jubilee marking the 60 years of her reign.
